El Costell

El Costell ( B.1965 NYC ) Spanish-American third generation contemporary artist. Active in the Abstract-Realist movement. Early success as a portrait painter. Her credits include His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, Shel Silverstein, Francis Bacon, Michael Strahan.

The body of the artist’s work focuses on the confluence and resolution of nature’s sovereignty and man’s ascendance. This theme is expressed in the medium itself… mixed media emerges from the canvas of traditional oils.
