Elena Trusova

Hi! I am Elena Trusova. I was born and raised in a small town in the center of Russia and painted throughout my childhood and youth. For three years I studied the basics of drawing, composition and color theory at an art school. But when after graduation it was time to choose what to do next, I did not dare to become an artist: there was no understanding of what to draw, why and how to realize myself in the art world.
I went to St. Petersburg, graduated from the institute there with a meteorological engineer diploma, got married and gave birth to two children. Then I moved to the beautiful old city of Tallinn and devoted my entire future life to my family and children. It was possible to draw only occasionally.
But now that long-awaited and happy moment has come when the children have grown up and I can devote all my time to drawing.
I love nature: animals, birds, plants, flowers, landscapes, the sky inspire me. These are not just words: for about 10 years now I have been predominantly raw vegan and try to do as little harm to nature as possible.
