Elisabeth Turci

Born in Belgium and currently based out in Italy. I create paintings and illustrations with a dreamlike and surreal style inspired by symbolism, alchemy, folklore and mythology as well as fantastic and sci-fi literature.
In my paintings there is a constant search for historical symbolism.
I use the same conceptual approach with which I started as a published author before dedicating myself to painting.
My intent is to explore the emotions, even the most difficult or dark, with a hint of kindness. Art is my way of elaborating them in order to grow, to face reality without forgetting to dream.

My paintings has been featured in books, magazines and exhibited in art galleries in Europe and USA.
