Enos Venturi

I live in a little village in the Italian country side, where my everyday life is marked by painting and the wild birds that I feed around home. Nature is than my first artistic driving force. Nature and the balance with people, a balance that is sometime beautiful and flourishing, sometime harsh and painful. During the decades answering the ever evolving social environment my art has shown colorful and peaceful works as well as biting discomfort for the often tangled and dramatic relation with nature.

I was leading a brush factory in my town when I decided in 1985 that I would retire from the business and start painting. I had the possibility to change completely my life and focus on art. Without a formal artistic education, with a lot of practice and sharing my experience with colleague painters, I can say that I enjoyed expressing myself in many different painting techniques, collecting every skill bit by bit with hard work and experience. Over time I have accumulated a lot of work, now that I am old I have decided to make it available to everyone.
