Born in Istanbul in 1981, Erdem Tuğ participated in inter-school competitions during his elementary school years, encouraged by his teachers, and won several awards. In 2004, he began studying in the Department of Ceramics at the Faculty of Fine Arts at Eskişehir Anadolu University. During his university years, he participated in group student exhibitions, competitions, and symposiums. At the same time, he started tattooing and combined it with ceramics, developing his unique style. In 2009, for his graduation project, he created a sink that combined industrial production with art, which was included in the municipal museum collection by Yılmaz Büyükerşen. In 2022, he designed the "Umay Bird" sculpture for Meral Akşener. Most recently, in 2024, he participated in the "Tulipomania" exhibition, and his painting "Dance of the Tulip" was included in the Istanbul Tulip Museum collection.
