Etienne Pixa is a versatile self-taught artist and graphic designer who has developed his skills in a variety of mediums over the years: photography, painting and drawing, using physical matter and digital techniques.
Etienne's sources of inspiration are varied: nature and all kind of landscape, but also scenes of everyday life in the city. Also, work experiences in very varied environments and very different social categories, provide a source of inspiration.
His paintings are in private collections in France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, the Netherlands, Greece and South Korea.
Etienne's interest in the arts was sparked early on by his grandfather, who was a painter, draftsman and graphic designer. He spent countless hours poring over his grandfather's art books, which inspired him to pursue his own artistic endeavors.
After studying advertising graphics, he began experimenting with painting on canvas, exploring the expressive possibilities of acrylic and oil paint. In Strasbourg he was fortunate to have Suzanne Obrecht, an experienced painter as a mentor, who provided invaluable advice and feedback on his work.
