Eugene Lunev

Sixteen years of study and fourteen successful years in the field of architecture (link to my architectural site: ), in my opinion, gave me everything I needed to leave the profession of an architect and start my most daring creative experiments in painting and make a conscious attempt to create a full-fledged unique author's style. The latter is based on a foundation of the classical Russian school of paining, because for a long time I had been learning directly from one of representatives of the 2nd generation students of the world-famous artist - Vasily Ivanovich Surikov. My style comprises positivity, compositional solidity, balanced color solutions, as well as an original detailed design of individual decorative elements of work. In general, I try to do all my works as decorative as possible. Moreover, a hidden meaning is conveyed inside the plot of each of my paintings - a philosophical implication. While the title of the picture is the key to understanding it.
