Evan Derian (b. October 31, 1967). Is a graphic designer, writer and illustrator working out of Detroit, MI. He has been doing design and illustration work since the early 90's. He has worked extensively in promotional design, screen printing, and logo design, along with illustrations for children's books, comic books and graphic novels. His comic work includes the 6 issue limited series Insignificant Gods and the subsequent graphic novel compilation. He wrote and illustrated a special Batman Fan-Fiction short story sequel to the impactful Killing Joke graphic novel entitled "Pulling Punchlines: Epilogue to the Killing Joke". Currently he is working on the 5th book in his new series called Miserable Americans, and, as well, He is also co-writing and illustrating the forthcoming Parallel Veins series. He also has begun a series of large format illustrations on canvas and prints. He is currently developing illustrations for his first show entitled “Tits and Explosions”.
Attended Wayne State University in Detroit. Studied photography, design and illustration.
