Eve Bridges

Forgotten archives, lost memories and decaying imagery are the focus of my illustrative practice. Uncovering and researching narratives buried within collections of found photography inspire my mixed media works.

I have recently completed a masters degree in Illustration at Manchester School of Art achieving a distinction and in 2017 achieved a 1st class degree in Illustration with Animation from the same institution.

I have shown my work at the Royal Academy of Arts down in London as part of their summer exhibition in 2017, 2018 & 2021 and have also had my imagery used in a project run by film director Danny Boyle.

In April 2021, I was selected to become an associate member of the Manchester Academy of Fine Arts after being a graduate member of the academy for three years after being awarded the MAFA Graduate Award at my Manchester School of Art BA degree show.

Based in the Peak District, I work from my home studio in a small village. When I’m not in the studio, you will probably find me at Elephantstones Gallery, where I have a selection of landscape works for sale.
