After a stay in Rome in the early eighties decisive in the delineation of an artistic vocation that will look at the Western Canon through the freedom of Twombly and the social dream of Sironi, Karl Evver made his debut in 1987 with the solo exhibition FORMS AND RELICS OF THE SCREAM.
In the last fifteen years Evver has extolled his vocation in the three paths of exploration at once relaxed and extremist: painting, less and less slave of luxuries and aestheticism, photography, increasingly adhering to a radical doubt on individual identity, and engraving, with a sign used with an almost inconceivable wildness for the graphic conservatism that still reigns in teaching and printing.
None (he's almost a savage).
