Y. native, is an abstract digital Techspressionist painter who received her BA 1966, MA Art Ed 1969 from Brooklyn College, NY. and an Ed.S from Nova University 93. She began her studies of digital art at the Florida Institute of Art while teaching middle school fine art and computers in 1996. Her students went on to win regional awards in computer art. Besides teaching art for fifteen years, and raising her family, her art career includes stone sculpturing, multi-modular paper sculpturing, and original abstract Techspressionist digital painting. As a member of the International Techspressionist Salon, her art was shown at The Southampton Art Center, N.Y “Techspressionism: Digital and Beyond,” 2022. Francene received her BA Fine Art and MA Art Ed at Brooklyn College, New York, NY. There, she studied with Ad Reinhardt, Philip Pearlstein, and Albert Terris. She also studied stone carving at Montoya Studios, Palm Beach, FL. and digital art at The Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
