- Soil Touching Souls - Inspired by the Japanese wisdom of wabi-sabi and my mother's influence, the concept of beauty in design for me is not only minimalistic, organic, and pure, but also subtly bold. This translates into my creations typically being off-white, brown, or black, devoid of glaze, and characterized by organic, rounded shapes in challenging balancing compositions. It's the simplicity and imperfection that can deeply resonate, which I hope to achieve with my objects.

- Courage for Self-Care -

My journey with clay began a year after losing my mother, providing me a means to grieve and initiate the process of letting go. Working with clay allowed me to achieve just that, in a way it still does.

At some point I came to realize that my sculptural pieces had become my way of imparting my mother's courage for self-care, which made me keep my promise I had made to her just before she passed away.

My mother was the one who consistently revealed life's beauty to me and taught me how to maintain that beauty. She possessed the ability to remain authentic, courageously trusting her intuition despite the setbacks she encountered in life.
