Frank Havermans

Netherlands based artist/ designer, owner of Studio Frank Havermans.

Frank Havermans founded his Studio for Experimental Architecture and Urban Dynamics in 1999 to develop and make strategic site specific interventions. For his experimental installations he is using the whole architectural spectrum from buildings to autonomous installations and from furniture to urban think models and drawings. In a world where everything is about efficiency, speed and standardization, Havermans is giving different, tailor made and innovative solutions that create architectural and mental consciousness for the visitors in his work.

Frank Havermans exhibited in Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Brazil, Canada, Indonesia and European countries. He participated in the Architectural biennales of Shenzhen (2020, 2013, 2011), Hong Kong (2012), Sao Paulo (2007) and participated in several international artist in residence projects for site specific installations (Macau, Toronto, Detroit, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Plovdiv). As a guest professor he teaches at various art and architecture academies and universities (Delft, Guangzhou, The Hague, Innsbruck). His striking work has been awarded with grants and awards.
