My work aims to explore the complex relationship between thought and expression through simplified stick figure illustrations and African symbolism. I use tattooed faces and repetitive symbols to create visual stories that express emotions often hard to put into words. Through layering and contrast, I investigate themes of memory, identity, and transformation, blending earthly and celestial elements to evoke both personal and collective experiences. My goal is for each piece to serve as a visual narrative that invites viewers to reflect deeply on their connection to history, culture, and self.
