My projects reflect the iconography of mountains and the natural structures of mountain surfaces, resulting in drawings, paintings, sculptures, digital works and hybrid objects.
In the working process I use photographic images of natural structures from the physically graspable world and translate them into the digital world, the so-called technosphere, with the help of a 3-D editing program. The digital transformation creates accesses that penetrate and unfold the surface.
A level of transformation that simultaneously alienates, abstracts and points to traces of being located in a world that is perhaps no longer perceptible by human eyes, but is calculated and mapped by a dysfunctional wandering satellite or carbon-free being. This sets a wide spectrum for unfolding in the processes, simulating gravity, time and geothermal processes in digital space.
