My paintings are visual projections of my emotional experiences.
I often get inspired by ‘the moment’, the feeling I felt in a given situation, the lights and shapes that surrounded me...
By time these evolve and develop in me, and take a new form on the canvas.
Feelings, experiences and sensations are intangible phenomena, so I - instinctively - chose a technique (diluted oil on raw canvas) that allows the layers of paint to overlap each other, thus creating layering and a translucent, light effect as they soak into the canvas.
