Fragments of psychology permeate her entire work of art like a delicate veil and dominate her own visual language.
Her identical portraits do not only show beauty, but also go into the psychological depth of each portrait subject. That is what makes them so unmistakable.
The enigmatic pictorial worlds of Gabrielle Luise Koch are in a peculiar way radically modern and timeless at the same time.
On the one hand, one sees contemporary subjects, on the other hand, her actors seem to come from myths, legends and allegories.
The fact that this tightrope walk succeeds again and again is based on the unusual techniques of the creation of pictures.
During her graphic and painting studies, she trained her eyes and her craft very well with regard to the choice of motifs, themes and the expressive composition of a picture.
In her artwork, the psychological sensitivity of the artist and her enormous ability to skilfully bring the stories of the pictures onto the image carrier are particularly evident.
