Khrystyna Gaidamaka is a unique and extraordinary artist. And that is not surprisingly as since her very birth there meant to be a certain artistic program in her personality. The program which fortunately ruins existing stereotype that children of geniuses are almost never geniuses. On the one hand, that is a great gift to be a daughter of prominent artists Larisa Mishchenko and Anatolij Gaidamaka; on the other hand, that is a great responsibility and everlasting fight for your personal, your OWN place in the field of arts. In the case of each success you always have to apologize for your origin, trying to prove your self-sufficiency and independence.

Probably that became the main reason for the basic symbol of her art – TREE of life which grows from strong root, with each branch to live its own life holding the trunk. Her trees are the essence of life with all the moments of joy, sadness, love, disappointment, and deep and sincere patriotism.
