H. Lloyd Weston is a multi-talented international artist—a painter, a poet, and a short story writer. Born in Kingston, Jamaica, he moved to the United States and became an American citizen.
He graduated Fairleigh Dickinson University with a B.A. degree in Art History and English Literature. Independent art studies include London, Paris and the Art Student League, New York.
Gallery exhibitions include the Roy Miles Gallery, London, U.K.; Gallery Die Treppe, Stuttgart, Germany; Galleria Ca D'oro, Rome, Italy; The United Nations, New York; The Amsterdam Whitney Gallery, New York; The Artbox Gallery, Art Basel, Switzerland. H. Lloyd Weston's reputation has grown steadily throughout the years. His commissioned painting of the T. S. Arethusa was presented to H.M. Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother in a ceremony at Grosvenor House, London, U.K. 1989. His book of poetry, The Many Silences of Love was successfully reviewed by the U.S. Review of Books and was awarded the Gold Seal of Excellence.
