Gareth Butcher creates abstract landscapes both minimalist and ethereal and bold and colourful. He paints in acrylic, charcoal and pastels. Originally from the UK Gareth's worldwide travels as a musician have influenced his work as a visual artist. Working intuitively sometimes from remembered landscape and sometimes imagined, his paintings have been sold worldwide. Now settled in the beautiful Yarra Valley in Victoria his everyday surroundings are a constant inspiration.
