I was born in 1975 in a small town in the French countryside and arrived in Paris in 1992 for my studies (History, English and literature). I have been a professional artist since 2007, with over 80 exhibitions across France and Europe.

My artistic approach is both simple and complex. Although my work portrays a figurative aesthetic that favors clarity, it does so through a complex blending of photography, digital art, and acrylic painting. The result is a mixed technique I call ‘paintography’.

My compositions highlight the fragility of the human body. I transform my model into virtual sculptures by replacing their skin with mineral materials to represent the passage of time.

Self-taught

I started taking photographs when I was 10 with my father's SLR and did my first nudes in B&W when I was 19. I briefly worked in the publishing industry when I was 22 and this is when I learned how to use Photoshop.

In 2007 I started a collaboration with musician and painter Philippe Laurent, which is how the idea of using acrylic became part of my artistic process.

In 2017 I got the prize awarded by the La Ralentie gallery in Paris for their competition on "Eros" and in 2020 I finish 3rd in the National Prize organized by Le Géant des Beaux-Arts.

My work has been published through 3 books and magazines (Transfiguring, Niepcebook#12 & Santé mentale) and a monography is due to be published at the end of 2021.
