Giulietta Delconte

Giulietta delConte, born 1983, is an Austro-Italian photo artist, who now lives and works in Vienna.

As a half-Italian, when she was still a child she was already interested in fashion and art. While still young, she visited the fashion school in Graz. Later she studied media design for a short time at the University of Art and Design in Linz. She also worked in fashion and began to be active as a nude and portrait model. This was a turning point in her life; she began to be more and more interested in photography.

Then Giulietta felt to go behind the camera and implement her own ideas. The woman body is the central component—always embedded in lovingly selected environment. In the studio, it is too dull and uncomfortable—too constricted. She is always looking for new scenes, indoors or out; particularly morbid abandoned buildings are a major fascination for her.

The women are usually set with bare skin in a sensitive erotic scene and play a major role in the implementation. She always follows her own image of beauty; with high heels, fashion accessories and other great attention to detail.
