As a visual artist, I am deeply drawn to the complexity of human expression — its contradictions, its vulnerability, and its quiet strength. My work explores the emotional architecture of the face and figure, often suspended between realism and abstraction, between clarity and distortion.
Drawing inspiration from pop culture, everyday encounters, and the silent drama of stillness, I paint portraits that reflect both the physical presence and the inner turbulence of the subject. Each painting is a moment frozen in time — not posed, but exposed. I deliberately embrace raw brushstrokes, vivid colors, and asymmetry to challenge the idea of perfection and to celebrate imperfection as a mark of truth.
I use acrylics on canvas as my primary medium, preferring their immediacy and boldness. Sometimes I work quickly, instinctively; other times, I obsess over a single gaze or shadow for hours. The process is always personal, always uncertain — like life.
Based in Greece, I see art as both a solitary ritual and a bridge to others. Whether a piece is bought, ignored, loved, or misunderstood, its existence in the world is already an act of connection. That is enough.
