1998, bhopal(india),Haris Imtiaz Khan learnt to sketch when he was three years old. It all started off with a shading book.Haris work depicts exactly what he sees without embellishment, stylization, or interpretation. Being so young he may not have acquired mastery of every facet of the sketching technique, but his sketches have a soul.His work is rich and unparalleled in sense and energy.

Deeply influenced by great national leaders & personalities like Mahatma Gandhi, Rabindranath Tagore and pandit Nehru, he made their sketches, with an unbridled passion. In these studies done from life, he revealed himself to be a simple and sincere observer as he sketched with unforgettable lightness and deft strokes.His favorite subject is Gandhiji, and he combines attention to detail with iconic representation in his sketches
