Hayder Wahab

Hello. I am Hayder Wahab, an abstract painter.
My love and affection for art started at about the age of 10. Then, I had lots of enthusiasm for my art class in my primary/elementary school. I received tremendous encouragement and support from my parents. Their critique for whatever I drew in black or colored pencils, or in pastels was always positive. This really instilled confidence within me. I am always glad and proud to mention that I attribute my love, passion and enjoyment for art to my parents.
My understanding and comprehension of art gradually developed through my exposure to magazines and television. I visited museums and castles abroad with my family and learned about paintings and antiques exhibited there. At the age of 18, I moved to London, United Kingdom, and two years later to Dublin, Republic of Ireland. My exposure to all forms of art got wider.
In 1981, I moved to the United States to attend university for an undergraduate degree in Business Administration. Alongside my preparation for the BBA degree, I kept my strong bond to everything that is Art. Fads appeared and disappeared. University of Houston, Houston, Texas. USA. Attended for one academic semester (Fall 1986) toward a Master's Degree in Accountancy.
