Henri Abraham Univers

Henri Abraham was born in 1974 in Paris VIIIe in France of a Burkinabe father (Mossi ethnicity) and a French mother (region of Normandy). He spent his childhood in Abidjan in Ivory Coast. Ever since he was a child he grew up surrounded by Arts: music, modeling, painting...
He graduated in 1999 at the Conservatoire Libre du Cinéma Français in Paris to become a film director, but painting ultimately took over.
Although Africa is the main source of inspiration for his work, it is not exclusively; He gets inspired by everything and from the many different areas of the world that he visited: Europe, Asia, the Americas…
Henri Abraham lived and studied in France/Paris, UK/London, USA/New York and Burkina Faso. Since summer 2015 he lives and works in France/Bordeaux.
