Henrik Blaszczyk

I was born in 1955 in Fagersta, Sweden and has been active as an artist in Gothenburg since 1982.

During my almost 40-year art creation, I have started from and investigated my own psychology, contemporary issues, philosophy, collective psychology, religion, technological development and existential issues linked to the inner and outer nature of man.

1982-87. 5 years of education in painting, drawing, art theory and art history at Dômen Art School. Gothenburg.

2001-04. 3-year master's degree in fine art, site-specific art, art theory and digital design at Valand Academy of Fine Arts. Gothenburg.

2005-06. 2005-06. 1 year pedagogy for teachers in higher artistic education with a focus on fine art, crafts, design and architecture at the Faculty of Arts, University of Gothenburg

For 35 years I have done 27 exhibitions at the Gothenburg Art Museum, Gothenburg City Art Gallery. Lund Art Museum, Liljevalch Art Museum. Gothenburg City Art Gallery Röda Sten, Fagersta City Art Gallery and at several private art galleries
