I am a self-employed photographer, working in both fine art and documentary / commercial photography for 20+ years.
I got my first break in the business by sneaking into the art department at Capitol Records where I persuaded the head of the art department to look at my portfolio. Somehow, this stunt actually worked and shortly after, Capitol had me shoot my first album cover for gangster rapper Schooly-D. Further jobs for Capitol and other companies followed.
In between this work, I continually creating personal images for myself and clients, shooting fine art and documentary projects.
I maintain a studio in Los Angeles, CA. I deeply love what I do.
University of Hard Knocks.
