Ian Mcgowan

I trained initially in the UK as a Chartered Landscape Architect and went on to design urban open spaces. My design work won 2 UK Civic Trust Awards and international design competition success. Later, I moved full-time into commercial illustration and art tutoring, and finally into gallery art. I work predominantly in watercolor and pen and ink. My work is in private collections worldwide and embraces a wide range of subject matter, although I am perhaps best known for my motor racing art.
