Ingrid Stiehler

My intensive work in art I began with landscape photography , when I studied at the academy of administration and business in NRW (Germany).

Inspired by the different trends of the cultures of Asia, Africa and North America, I combined new impressions and traditional techniques learned in many journeys. My approach is, to learn by doing; my endeavor was always to find an individual style in this way and to create aesthetic and decorative objects, linked with a positive message - maybe you will find a criticism against people (where ever they live), who are intolerant and unfair against other creatures or our nature... - and that's intended!


My acrylic/bronze paintings are interesting and decorative parables, which will be explored and discovered by the viewer and exhibited already - to my great joy - in many international shows and biennals, since 2007.


The preferential materials for my artwork are silk, gypsum, bronze, wood, acrylic and not least silver.
