Ione Crusoé

I am Ione Crusoé, I was born in Montes Claros, Brazil, where I live and maintain my studio. I woke up to art in my childhood. At 21 I started painting encouraged by my family, specializing first in acrylic on canvas and then in watercolor, being the technique with which I most identify.
My works are understood from a historical, poetic and affective perspective, highlighting the details of daily life and the places I visit. Despite my experience as an artist, it was only in 2018 that I began to spread my work more widely, being very well received.

I had to learn intuitively. My learning comes from studying renowned and rising artists through literature and video. Although I have not attended an art school, I can express myself through art. I challenge myself every day to learn a little more and go further, get out of my comfort zone and do something new.
