Irina Zadek

I was born in Buenos Aires, in the famous neighborhood of La Boca, a popular, Bohemian, and artistic district.

Resident in Formentera since 2006. I am an image artist, I have been dedicated to photography since 2004.

After obtaining her diploma in Communication Media at the ORT technical school, at the age of 21, I traveled to Europe. Since then, this continent has become my place of residence.

In 1995, I went to Berlin, in those years, after the fall of the wall, Berlin was a fascinating city. I lived there for eight years. This city marked me, educated me, and, in a certain way, shaped my character. In Berlin, I graduated in performing arts and worked in renowned Varieté theaters in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

In photography, I find a way of expression where her human sensibility, my vision of life, and my performing arts and stage experience are integrated and cohesive.

My trajectory and search are based on people and their relationships. One of the issues that run through my work is building bridges and connections between the characters and their worlds.

1998 ART SCHOOL DIE ETAGE.  Graduated as a Professional  Acrobatics, in Berlin, Germany.

1992 ORT, TECHNICAL HIGH SCHOOL. Graduated in Communication Media, in Buenos Aires, Argentine.

The first exhibition of "The art of living" project took place in the Exhibition Hall of the Old Town Hall in San Francisco, Formentera, Balearic Island, Spain, in September 2022.

The second individual exhibition of the project was in September 2023, at the Centro “Antoni Gabrielet Tur” in Formentera too.
