Iveta Hankova

Iveta Hankova & Jakub Volka are a couple living in Prague. Their work is influenced mainly by Japanese minimalism. All their paintings are their mutual cooperation.
In Iveta's work, the influence of lomography and Japanese calligraphy is noticeable. Jakub, who is also a photographer and an architect, brings elements of architectural design into the common creation.
When one makes a move, the other responds, altering the original vision, and discovering a new form. By mutual improvisation, the technique of encountering the feelings of the other, comes into being. The whole is then an imprint of the unanswered thoughts.
