After studying Graphic Design at Sint Lucas in Boxtel and the Design Academy Eindhoven, she studied fine arts at Sint Joost in ’s Hertogenbosch. This was all part of a period where she felt she had to choose between her two passions; art and design, untill she realised they actually complement each other in her works.
She started Studio Van Keulen in 2011 as a platform for her artistic endeavours. In the universe of Ivi van Keulen, people are central. Stillness, emotion and message come together in her figurative work and performances. To this day she continues to explore the field between art and design through her out of the box thinking and unexpected collaborations. A feeling that echoes throughout the works of the studio.
