Robert E Messick

Robert Messick was trained in the traditional techniques of drawing, painting and photography at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

While working as a graphic artist in St. Louis I experimented with screen printing, works of oil on paper and illustration.

Retiring in 2004 he is currently working in digital media creating conceptual art pieces in photoshop and with sculpture using 3-D digital printing cast in bronze.

Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1964 studying Advertising Illustration, and Printing Design.

1976 — Printing Industry of America Certificate Award in design for Concordia Publishing House, St. Louis MO.

2009 — Sculptural work in bronze included in a group show at The Jacoby Art Center in Alton, Illinois

1990 — Exhibition of works in screen printing and oil on paper at the Goodwin Gaspar Gallery St. Louis, Missouri

1991 — Exhibition of serigraphs at the Wild Flower Restaurant in St. Louis, MO.
