Playing with abstract structures and unexpected colour ways Izzy Malanczuk creates landscape paintings and drawings that push borders of the familiar, she invites emotion into her creative process, allowing the scenes of current comforts or past experiences to be recreated and reformed with the mark they left on the artist in the forefront of her mind as they're painted, demonstrating our intimate relationship with the natural world; one of love and devotion, danger and bliss, an ever-changing backdrop to our existence, growing alongside us.
