James Taylor

I'm a photographer who is lucky enough to be based in the lovely Oxfordshire countryside, just outside of Henley-on-Thames.

I find colours and textures fascinating, and have recently started to apply artistic filters to some of my photographs, to try to achieve an artistic effect.

Even though some images may look more like paintings, everything you see in my portfolio starts with a photograph.

When I'm not taking photographs, I can normally be found either staring into the middle-distance, or playing my beloved Gretsch and Jazzmaster guitars in my indie band Silent Submarines.

I use Olympus and Nikon cameras, and have exhibited at the Lewis Gallery in Rugby.
