Kristina Janekova

I was born in 1990 in Slovakia.
I attended a special art school since I was 8 years old
for children. Subsequently, I completed art studies at secondary school and received my academic education at the Comenius University in Bratislava.

In my work, I am inspired by the endless world of crystal clear children's fantasy. As a mother of a small child, I can empathize with children's desires and ideas and I try to incorporate them into that part of my room paintings that have a positive effect on them and develop their imagination.

Art critics claim that endless love, beauty, harmony, peace and joy radiate from these paintings. And our children need that.


In addition to creating for children, I devote myself to romantic painting for adults with the same passion and enthusiasm. I am an eternal romantic. I dream of imaginary worlds in which brightly colored butterflies fly over blooming meadows full of fragrant flowers and adorable birds sing, but also of the infinite mysterious universe with which we are connected.
I then compose these fantasy ideas on canvas.
I think that most of us need, at least in our minds and imaginations, to escape from the everyday, often too hectic and chaotic reality to another - a more beautiful, cleaner ...
