Jason Allen Greig

Jason Allen Greig is a colored pencil artist. He has established his company JA Greig Color in 1990. He promotes and sells his art throughout this company.

Allen Greig was born in 1970 in a Carson City, Nevada, where he currently resides.

Throughout his career Allen Greig has tried different mediums, before discovering colored pencil. He creates brilliant rich hues, which have become his signature style. This painter has developed a technique of layering complementary colors, to enrich his shadows. On a first glance Jason’s paintings appear to be realism or photo-realism. When a closer inspection is made, it becomes obvious that this artist accurately draws his objects. This artist transcends his art beyond realism, by manipulating color and light.

The color and light found in everyday objects are the main focus of Greg, when creating his artworks.

He graduated from the University of Nevada with Summa Cum Laude honors and holds a Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts.

He has exhibited in some of the most prestigious gelleries across the USA and Canada.
