I have been drawn to painting since childhood. For various reasons, I took different career paths that still, in their own way, guided me toward art. For many years, I was on the side of those who work with art professionally, but not among those who create it.

After the Velvet Revolution, in 1992, I founded a successful international photo bank. Yet something was still missing in my life - until about 14 years ago, when I began to paint.

Not wanting to be limited by a lack of formal education, I attended seminars at Václav Hollar Secondary Art School and Academy of Arts, Architecture & Design in Prague, as well as Sumie and calligraphy organised by the Czech-Japanese Culture Association, along with private lessons from mentors. In 2022, I decided to fully dedicate myself to an artistic career, and today, painting is an integral part of my life.

I am an abstract expressionist painter whose works are inspired by experiences and deep emotions. In my practice, I transform these into a dynamic process of action painting, characterised by the pure energy of movement across the canvas.
