Jennifer Parker

I live on a quiet stretch of prairie beside the Spirit Lake Reservation, where the sky feels endless and art always seems to find its way in. Over the years, I’ve poured my energy into local arts festivals and exhibitions, and I spent six inspiring years serving on the board—and later as Executive Director—of the Nelson County Arts Council.
These days, you’ll still find me leading workshops at a couple of my favorite art camps for both adults and youth: the International Music Camp and the Stump Lake Fine Arts Youth Camp. I also spend time painting outdoor murals and have had the honor of judging several art shows across North Dakota.
When I’m not making art, I’m likely watching dirt track racing or kicking up dust on something with a motor. And truthfully, I’m always thinking about art—constantly. It’s a small miracle my husband hasn’t gone mad yet.

Associates in Commercial art (MN) and began a BA in Visual Arts (AZ).
