Jenny Seongryung Lee is a talented and accomplished Korean-Canadian visual artist with a passion for painting. Her creativity and imagination know no bounds, and her work is a testament to her unique vision and personal style.
Living between Vancouver, Canada and Jeonju, South Korea, Jenny draws inspiration from her diverse cultural experiences, incorporating elements of both Eastern and Western art into her work. She sees painting as a means of achieving true self-expression and freedom, where the canvas is a space for her to explore and create without constraints.
Jenny's passion for painting is rooted in the joy of forgetting everything and embracing the creative process. She revels in the freedom of ignoring rules and limitations, and her art is a testament to her willingness to take risks and push boundaries. As a young person, she struggled with the pressure to conform to societal expectations, but through her art, she has learned to accept herself for who she is and embrace her vulnerabilities.
