Jeanette Lamb's creative work that is rooted in raw, layered language of collage—splices of literature, musical scores, light, analog grit, digital noise, and historical residue contribute to unsettling meditations on perception, time, and the fractured state of human consciousness. With an eye for disruption and a taste for complexity, she she explores how we see, speak, remember, commemorate and, occasionally, unravel.
Over the past years, her work specifcally investigates literature and socio-political themes, with a particular emphasis on historical memory and the legacy of the Cold War.
She has been a member of the long-running, prestigious German women’s art collective, GEDOK. Her works have been published in Leipzig Zeitgeist (2012), University of Iowa The Hunger (Visual Verse, 2016) Prose, Duende (Godard College, 2015), Why Hasn't JB Already Disappeared (Delere Press, 2017), among others.
