Joanaa Firmino

Born in 1983, lives and works in Vienne (38) - FRANCE.

After studies in Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts of Lyon, she refined her knowledge of arts and graduates in plastic arts from university Paris 1 Panthéon - Sorbonne.

" Be it packing cardboards accumulated in the studio, pictures picked up online, those of relatives serving as models or even profile pictures of stangers found on social networks, the collection is an essential part of my design process.
It allows me work from real objects reflecting our eveday life and our time in order to question their uses, their relations.
Poor materials, cardboards, interest me for their sociological memory, and affective aspects.
