Josyane Desclaux

Living and working in Provence, Josyane's palette exalts her surroundings. The vineyards, the olive and cypress trees all come to a new life.
The countryside is represented in its simplicity and traditional decor while her choice of colors exude a certain lyricism, their vibrancy awaken us to a deep passion for Provence.
Her sense of balance is evident in her still lifes and her softness is apparent in her floral bouquets.
An impulsive freshness and harmony of colors reflect a great sensitivity doubled with a feminine tenderness, with arouse our emotions.

Born in 1942, Josyane attened the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Toulon, France.
There, she studied under Pertus and later the world-renown, Eugéne Baboulène (1905-1996).
