It goes back to the year 2007 when he chose ART as a selective period beginning his senior year of high school, class where this great art teacher, to whom he has always been grateful for teaching him that talents need polish for greater. Art teacher who later on the same year chose one of Juan first art pieces to take part in a Gallery at the Bowers Museum in the city of Santa Ana, CA.
Over the years he has been experimenting by using pastels, watercolors & acrylics but always goes back to his " keep it simple" which are graphites and charcoal, a simple medium but so mesmerizing.
