Each of my paintings is a journey into my personal space. The subject is literally traversing and surveying the area.

I like graphic boundaries to place a limit on the space, with layers, including both straight and curved lines traveling throughout, deeply exploring the energy within.

My work is rich in texture with subtle color combinations, and the organic subtly succumbs to instantaneous moods creating a deep sense of encoding.

The main objective is to give each viewer an opportunity to consider the larger, unseen realities that contribute to the energy and uniqueness of the painting.

Ideally, painting is not just a record of a physical presence but also a documentation of the encounter that exists between the energy experienced and translating it into the painting.

In formal terms, my work is an exploration of a packed frame typically filled with layers in the form of light, texture and color. I am interested in both the tension and solitude that exists within each.
