Kajal Zaveri

I was born in India, lived in California, and have recently moved to New York.
I am largely a self taught artist who enjoys the lack of any rules in art and painting, which makes my work free flowing, uninhibited, bold and colorful. I have worked in many mediums over the years but I love the freedom of big, bold, tactile strokes and multi-layering that oil painting allows, and is my current area of focus. My painting style is a mix of abstract and semi abstract portrayals of nature in its full splendor and manifestations.
