Gina Groot

Gina’s art Gallery is a unique online gallery showcasing my work. I’m an artist working out of my home in Cochrane, Alberta. I’m actively involved in the art community of southern Alberta;and am a member of the Foothills Art Club and the Cochrane Commutity Arts and Culture.

I enjoy painting a variety of subject matters and utilize mediums to reflect what I’m trying to portray -including portraits, wildlife and landscapes. I’m dedicated to and passionate about my art, and have completed numerous commissioned pieces for friends, family and an ever expanding clientele.

Having studied under the private direction of Joyce Anderson, a well known Winnipeg Artist, as well as formal classes at the Alberta College of Art and Design. I’ve realized my lifelong passion for painting!

I’ve been published in the International Contemporary Masters - World Wide Art Books Inc. published In 2013 and 2014 - a International Contemporary Masters volume 7 and volume 9
I have all exhibited with the RAW Artists-calgary - Magnify Show - April. 19,2018
I have had a solo exhibit at the Final Touch Art Studio in Cochrane,Alberta -2017
I have also shown my work at the High Country Gallery in Cochrane - 2016
