Karolina Skorek

Karolina Skorek is a multi-disciplinary artist working with photography, traditional etching, digital art and painting. She specialises in portraits as she is fascinated with humans.

Karolina was born in Sosnowiec, Poland, she now lives and works in North Wales.

Skorek combines her love of art history with her admiration of technology, which results in surreal works, with a timeless nostalgic feeling created by combining photographs and paintings, her work is reminiscent of Old Masters of Painting. Karolina has an endless curiosity and fascination with humanity and the depths of the human psyche, she is exploring this in her painting-like portraits.

Karolina has worked with many celebrities, models, and companies who have fallen in love with the painterly style of the artist.Her photos appeared in many publications with the most recent editorial for Vogue India.

Her work has appeared in Vogue, Netflix, MSNBC, Tatler Asia, Harper’s Bazaar, and others
